Identity theft, also known
as identity fraud, is one of the fastest growing crimes in the nation.
Yet it's more than someone stealing your credit card and making fraudulent
charges on it. Identity theft happens when someone uses another person's
personal information to commit theft. This information may be as simple as a
name, address and date of birth, or as detailed as a Social Security number, or
a mother's maiden name. Identity thieves use this information to open credit
card accounts, obtain loans, drain bank accounts and more.
Your identity can be stolen many different ways,
including online through your own computer. With the INVISUS PC
Security Service, you are protected against these online threats as well as the
other traditional threats of identity theft.
INVISUS Direct's Personal Identity Theft Insurance policy, underwritten by AIG, is included at no extra cost with your subscription to the INVISUS PC Security Service.
